As people of Groningen plan ultimate date nights, businesses roll out red and pink-themed promos full of hearts and rose petals. In a country where only one-third celebrates the day of Saint Valentine, some look forward to fancy dinner in their favorite restaurant, while for others it will be just an ordinary night.

Our reporter Daniela Ivančáková hits the streets of Groningen, talking to the salespeople of a jewelry shop and gift stores, but also the owner of a sex shop - and apparently, a bit of self-love never goes out of style, especially for those flying solo this February 14th.
